In this episode of Voices of the Neighborhood, Erik is joined by long-time colleague and Power Apps MVP Søren Weber for a candid and humorous deep-dive into the state of AI, Copilot, and the evolving role of the citizen developer.
We explore what’s truly changed in the world of app-building, why curiosity and playfulness still beat credentials, and how AI empowers the human pilot. Søren brings stories from the field, insights from training many users, and a community challenge aimed at both experts and newcomers.
A fun, thoughtful, and energetic conversation that celebrates six months of podcasting and the messy magic of learning by doing.
Some fun quotes about experts:An expert is a person who has found out by his own painful experience all the mistakes that one can make in a very narrow field.
An expert is someone who knows some of the worst mistakes that can be made in his subject and how to avoid them.
And Socrates: "I know that I know nothing."

Bo and Erik talk about adoption of Copilot in any type of organization. We talk about strategies of improving engagement and we have coined the term "Introvert Champion".

Today I'm talking with Mikko Koskinen, a recently awarded MVP who works with Copilot Studio.
We talk about what has him excited most and what he believes would be good things to be aware of while planning for a new Copilot Agent. Hint: it's not the IT side that's the most important!

The challenge I posed in the episode:
Can AI "do Resource Management"? Personally I believe it can't, but I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Thanks for being a listener!

In this first real episode Erik (van Hurck) and Erik (David Johnson) team up to talk about AI.
But, what I thought would be a very technical LLM focused talk turned out to be a more philosophical discussion on what it means to be human. And what makes a Generative AI so much different.
Erik David Johnson has a track record spanning more than a decade. Providing his insights to, among others, the Danish government.
As this is the first episode, let me know what I could have done better. I'm always interested to improve.
