First, let me say that this episode continues nicely from the conversation I had with Tatu. This time I’m talking with Myron Helgering, a fellow Dutch Microsoft Security MVP, working at Pink Elephant.
We talk about unmanaged devices. And even though that might sound like a very technical security topic, the conversation quickly becomes much broader. Because what actually counts as an unmanaged device? Your personal phone with company mail? A consultant laptop from another company? A MacBook that belongs to the company but was never enrolled in Intune?
According to Myron, this is exactly where many organizations still have a blind spot. They know how to secure the devices they manage. But they often don’t know who or what is accessing their environment from devices they do not control.
We also talk about why security is not just an IT problem, but a company risk. That means stakeholder management, communication, business decisions, and knowing which users or departments should only work from managed devices.Community challenge:Spin up a Microsoft 365 developer tenant, don’t only read about security, start testing and clicking around.Myron Helgering – LinkedInMicrosoft Security BlogSpeaker Profile on SessionizeSessies & Masterclasses | Experts Live NetherlandsRegister | Experts Live NetherlandsSend us a message using this form: Voices of the Neighborhood – Fill out form

First, let me say sorry for the bad recording this time. For some reason the Teams recording was very bad and we didn't notice any hiccups during the call.
Even though, I do want to share this conversation I had with Tatu because I still had a lot of fun with it. And because I think Tatu has very interesting thoughts on security in IT, and why it's not about the IT side. It's much more a social aspect, and a human topic.

Peter and Erik discuss the impact of AI on project portfolio management and workplace efficiency. We explore why company AI tools often feel slower than public models, emphasizing the importance of fine-tuning and context engineering.
We discussed the challenges of measuring the benefits of AI adoption, where individual gains are often intangible and difficult to quantify using traditional business metrics.
This first episode in season 2 also covers practical tips for building effective AI agents and debunks myths about instant business benefits. Creativity and experimentation are highlighted as key skills for leveraging AI. Listeners are encouraged to start building their own agents and focus on personal growth.

In this episode of Voices of the Neighborhood, Erik is joined by long-time colleague and Power Apps MVP Søren Weber for a candid and humorous deep-dive into the state of AI, Copilot, and the evolving role of the citizen developer.
We explore what’s truly changed in the world of app-building, why curiosity and playfulness still beat credentials, and how AI empowers the human pilot. Søren brings stories from the field, insights from training many users, and a community challenge aimed at both experts and newcomers.
A fun, thoughtful, and energetic conversation that celebrates six months of podcasting and the messy magic of learning by doing.
Some fun quotes about experts:An expert is a person who has found out by his own painful experience all the mistakes that one can make in a very narrow field.
An expert is someone who knows some of the worst mistakes that can be made in his subject and how to avoid them.
And Socrates: "I know that I know nothing."

Today I'm talking with Mikko Koskinen, a recently awarded MVP who works with Copilot Studio.
We talk about what has him excited most and what he believes would be good things to be aware of while planning for a new Copilot Agent. Hint: it's not the IT side that's the most important!
